Nestled luxuriously among the cliffs and tall palms on Nicaragua’s emerald coast is a beautiful secret just waiting to be discovered – Mukul Resort. This gem offers 37 guest accommodations built with nature and Nicaragua’s natural surroundings in mind. From artisanal furnishings to expansive glass windows that bring generous seascapes into view, every detail is lovingly considered. Now just imagine doing yoga there!
With a newly built yoga platform that is framed by rainforest on two sides and open to sea breezes on the others, the view of the ocean and the sense of soulfulness is outstanding. Yoga teacher and retreat planner Jessie Potter says, ”I visited the resort back in May and it truly blew me away. Every room or “bohio” has its own private view and plunge pool. Walking the premises is beautiful, but when you’re looking for a lift there are golf carts to pick you up and drop you off at different parts of the property. The spa is truly the nicest and most private spa I’ve ever been to.”
Spa treatments at Mukul are private indulgences that make you feel like, “the only person on earth.” Private spa experiences housed in individual “temples” offer a day of lush and luxurious treatments that not only melt away the stresses of your daily life, but invite you into a world of self-nourishment. And a 60 minute spa experience is an included option in Jessie’s The Beauty of Being Yoga Retreat planned for this November.
Of course this beautiful resort boasts a complete professionally planned 18 hole golf course that hosts the Flor de Cana Open, a LatinAmerican PGA golf tour named after the famous rum brand. A bottle of Flor de Cana will welcome you during your stay at the Mukul Resort when booking the Beauty of Being Yoga and Wellness Mukul Retreat with Jessie Potter.
Daily yoga and meditation will include themes specially chosen by Jessie and her mom Jody Potter, an avid yogi, and meditation guru. The themes will provide opportunities for inward focus and self-reflection.
With a focus on self, there is plenty of unstructured time during the day to explore the exceptional amenities at Mukul, play golf, indulge in spa experiences, or just spend time in deep thought looking out over the pristine ocean while enjoying the beauty of being.
Nicaragua’s love for nature and the country’s unspoiled beauty are a perfect complement to a yoga retreat that will help you arrive at that space of love and requiescence.
